The bible should we not pay attention because its old and outdated written by men ?

I wouldn't say we shouldn't pay attention to everything in the Bible, it has some very good moral points for everyone--Christians and non-believers alike, but it is true that it is very old and was written by men so I believe most of it should be read with a grain of salt and a realization that it is ancient. So no, don't throw the baby out with the bath water but definitely change the water before it gets skanky.
