Was there a relation between the zionist state and Apartheid south Africa?

One poster mentioned United States and Great Britain, the UK did maintain ties and limited trade, but only Israel sold weapons and possibly nuclear technology. They did the same in Central America after the American congress forbid the sale of arms to the governments with the worse human rights violations.
