Should i be worried??

so my boyfriend is in iraq and everytime he goes online he will read all my messages but he will NEVER respond to them... i asked him why and he said cuz he only has time to read my messages so i figuered if i just didnt message him maybe he would take the time to leave me a nice message but he didnt... so while he was online still i sent him a message asking for his aim sn and he read it but ignored it... should i be worried?
