Can we ever find a sincere, non a crock politician?
I've come to believe that politicians are for sale because the power that they possess is worth buying. They're not inclined to surrender that power either. Those who have power usually want more of it; not less. The voting public is a diverse population with diverse, often conflicting ideas, attitudes and opinions. In order to appeal to the greatest number of voters, a politician has to adopt a strategy that appeals to a greater number of people than his or her opponent. It's not about right and wrong (I wish it was); it's all about getting the numbers in order to grasp the power.
