Ferning and early pregnancy?

I had ovulated last weekend right after my bf and I had unprotected . I noticed today that I had ferning patterns on my microscope. It would be too late for it to be from ovulation, so I was wondering if it could possibly be from implantation or early pregnancy. Does your body produce more estrogen (that causes the ferning pattern) during those times?
