What are some really scary, haunting movies?

Any suggestions on really scary movies? I love scary movies but i rarely get scared. Most scary movies nowadays seem to be all blood and guts. That's okay with me as long as its haunting which most movies don't seem to have. Probably the movie that freaked me out the most of all time was the Descent. I like movies like that. I thought about that for weeks. P.S. movies like The Hills Have Eyes are just gory and they don't do it for me. Any suggestions?
