My boyfriend & I have been each other's only ual partners.?

We met at a very young age, when we were both still virgins, and we have never cheated on each other. Is it still possible to have HPV? Is it ped on simply by having with a person and exchanging bodily fluids? Or is it ped on by a person who has the virus already?
