Likes me,playing me,wants to be friends,what?

If my guy friend IMs me almost everytime I'm online,and calls me almost every night(even though he has a job and schooling and he has to wake up super early)and tells me that I give him tingles(erflies)and is always complimenting my laugh and voice and telling me I'm cute all the time,does that mean he likes me for more than a friend?Or is he just super friendly?(Might I add that he has a girlfriend who he is always having problems with.Who I think he's just too attached to,and is too attached to let her go right now.)And tonight he told me that he'd IM me tonight at 10 but didnt,and I IMed him at 10:25 and told him that I was going to sign out.He asked if he could call me in a couple hours(dont know if he'll call or not)because he wanted to take a shower.So whats going on?
