If I buy a Compaq Presario laptop with Windows 95, I'll be able to upgrade it to Windows XP, right?

NO STAY away, a laptop this old will have the same problem, the battery its going to be exausted already. y not try buying the battery on ebay, if your laptop its newer than the one on the link, its wort the battery. what laptop do you have now?
